Matthew Paweski (b. Detroit, Michigan, 1980; lives and works in Tempe) Matthew received his BFA in Printmaking from Arizona State University. He is the recipient of a 2006 Contemporary Forum Artist Grant. His images represent his interpretation of the Southwest, specifically the Phoenix metro area. His paintings are constructed by replicating the process, materials and techniques used in the construction and homebuilding industries.
