We explore a strange space where an abstract line is given immense physical form with palpable consequences. Mirage [Sonora/Arizona] allows the viewer to stand on both sides of a wall at once. Weaving together two shredded photographs from opposite vantage points along an international boundary creates this liminal space. The viewer faces both north and south simultaneously; the barrier becomes translucent.
