 A STATE-WIDE JURIED EXHIBITIONFEBRUARY 28 - MAY 10, 1998   ARTISTS' RECEPTION WITH PERFORMANCES FEBRUARY 28, 1998 7-9 P.M. PARTY ON THE PLAZA 8:30 - 10 P.M.

Arizona State University Art Museum announces an exhibition of state-wide contemporary art juried by the Museum's curators and two curators from outside the state. The goal of the exhibition is to present the diversity and strength of contemporary art being produced in the state today, and to promote communication between curators and Arizona artists. Based upon the 356 entries, the jurors selected twenty-two artists. The ASU Art Museum's curators visited the studios of selected artists to identify approximately three pieces from each for the exhibition.
