Art on the Edge of Fashion Performance

MASATOMA HAYAMA, MARIA LATOUR, MARLON SALAS, VIRGINIA SARDI - The artists created a living sculpture of a man wearing a garment made out of food (flattened and preserved vegetables or fruit). The model laid on a table elaborately decorated with a screen printed table cloth, garnishes and flowers. The display was very inviting and sumptuous and viewers were unsettled by the realization that the main dish was a person - playing on connecting the ideas of consumption of food and consumption through viewing.
