SARA CARLSON - The performance was a visual discussion that investigated issues of violence against women. Carlson was clothed in white and carried a red backpack-like body bag and roved through the museum leaving pieces of cut red cloth that she reconstructed into small sculptures. First in cut form, and then reconstructed, these different sculptures commented on the varying nature of violent acts on women, and how women heal differently.
