Jennifer-Marie Wallace - The South's Smallest Woman

The promise of the South's smallest woman.
Things are not always what they appear to be.
The audience anticipates a doll woman no larger
than 23 inches; but instead they see just a woman
who is physically linked to a piece of bleached fabric
and spools of red thread. She spends her time between
folding the fabric, struggling with the fact that it extends
from her waist, and the spools of thread which are attached to
the word bleachery stitched into her hem line. Her movement is
repetitive and seems never-ending. She remains focused and frustrated
knowing the fabric is a part of her, knowing she has little choice.
One must finish the task.
