Internships for academic credit. How to apply:
- Check with your academic advisor for internship options in your degree program.
- Ask faculty members in your department for suggestions
- Review your personal career goals. How will an internship help me?

Every internship is different. The ASU Art Museum strives
to offer quality professional development opportunities to students while
utilizing the skills of each individual intern. One student with strong research
skills might investigate artists backgrounds for curators working on
upcoming exhibitions. Another student might use their computer skills to assist
the Museums registrar on the collection database. While another student
with an interest in community service might work with youth group tours organized
by the education department.
Requirements and hours may vary for different internship positions.
But a few consistent requirements for internship applications at the ASU Art
Museum include:
- Cover letter
- Resume
- Three references (at least one faculty member)
- Short writing sample (an essay from a class)
