The ASU Art Museum serves as a laboratory for thinking about and enjoying art in innovative ways. Through four new program initiatives including Global Arizona, which focuses on addressing important societal issues, whether local or global; Social Studies, which invites a visiting artist to turn a gallery into a working studio; InterLab, which invites interdisciplinary work of faculty, students and others; and Moving Targets, which builds on the museum's long history of exploring the role of new media in the arts, we are both presenting and exploring the highest quality of art as well as defining the museum of the future.
