Collecting Arizona: Selections from the ASU Art Museum

Free Family Fun Day, Sat., July 14, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Get out of the heat and join us for our annual Family Fun Day — Saturday, July 14, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. — when children of all ages are invited to enjoy a variety of art making projects, educational booths and performances by local musicians, dancers, magicians and puppeteers, plus our summer exhibition, Collecting Arizona.

Collecting Arizona is the ASU Art Museum’s tribute to the state in honor of its Centennial, featuring artists from the region and a wide range of artwork about Arizona, including prints, painting and sculpture.

Support for Collecting Arizona was provided by the ASU Art Museum Advisory Board and the Stulgaitis Family Scholastic Award in honor of Helen Flecha Polina.

Community partners include: Changing Hands Bookstore; Eight, Arizona PBS; and Valley Metro.

This free exhibition is organized by Jean Makin, print collection manager, with educational outreach organized by Andrea Feller, curator of education.
