The ASU Art Museum is an integral part of the ASU Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts at Arizona State University. The ASU Art Museum receives the support of the university to maintain its facilities and professional staff, but relies heavily upon the generosity of its members and investors to achieve its mission.
Private and corporate gifts help to support exhibitions, educational programs, acquisitions, research, collections management and the ASU Art Museum’s outreach to diverse audiences.
Every dollar donated to the ASU Art Museum until June 30, 2016 will be matched dollar-for-dollar by the Windgate Charitable Foundation Challenge grant, with the matched portion funding an endowment for the ASU Art Museum International Artist Residency Program.
Derive financial benefits through tax-deductible gifts to the ASU Art Museum. An outright gift is a direct transfer of any asset to the ASU Art Museum. Outright gifts can be made with cash, credit cards or securities and are used to support the current needs of the ASU Art Museum.
Your gift could create an endowed fund that provides a reliable stream of income to the ASU Art Museum year after year. Investors may name a space in the ASU Art Museum; establish named curatorial positions, initiatives, lectureships, exhibitions, internships, support acquisitions, artwork conservation or general operations.
A formal pledge of support allows you to make regular gift payments over a specified period of time. Pledges allow donors to plan personal giving programs that are convenient for them. A pledge may enable a donor to consider a more significant gift than may have been possible otherwise.
Exhibition and Educational Program Sponsorship
Sponsorship of an exhibition or educational program allows individual sponsors to focus their investments through specialized interests and projects that they will see develop and impact the community and the field. Corporate sponsors benefit from the opportunity to enhance their corporate image and increase visibility through serving the community.
Planned gifts include charitable trusts, gift annuities and bequests – giving arrangements that can offer tax advantages and allow you to maximize your giving potential.
Express your interest in donating artwork to the Curatorial department of the ASU Art Museum. We collect in the areas of contemporary art, Latin American art, contemporary craft, prints and historic art of the Americas. Please contact the museum regarding any artwork you may wish to donate at 480.965.2787.
Corporate matching gifts are an important source of support for the ASU Art Museum. We encourage you to contact your employer to determine matching gift policies and procedures.
Real estate and personal property can be donated outright or become part of your gift planning. These investments offer a unique array of benefits to investors, their families and the museum.
