Internship Opportunities
Internships at the ASU Art Museum offer students the opportunity to explore:
- museum careers through hands-on experience in museum practice under the supervision of a professional curator or museum staff member
- broad perspectives on contemporary art
- exhibition planning and collections care
- museum-related research projects
- and interaction with artists and museum professionals.
Windgate Curatorial Internships
Beginning in January, 2005, the ASU Art Museum was pleased to announce two
paid curatorial internships sponsored by the Windgate Charitable Foundation.
Art and art history, graduate and undergraduate students at ASU are eligible
for the annual internships. Current interns are focusing on archive management
at the Ceramics Research Center, and research and planning for diverse upcoming
exhibitions in the Nelson Fine Arts Center facility. The successful candidates
had a proven record of academic achievement, demonstrated intellectual curiosity
for art museum and curatorial issues, and basic office administrative skills.

Internships for credit through the School of Art are available on an ongoing
