Kade L. Twist (b. Bakersfield, California, 1971; lives in Tempe) Kade received his BA in American Indian studies, with an emphasis on tribal policy and economic development, from the University of Oklahoma. He is the Director of Policy for the Native Media and Technology Network and is an enrolled member of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma. He is a poet, noise artist and new media installation artist. His current work focuses on the social, cultural, economic and political narratives embedded within the Cherokee Diaspora experience.
