Manuel Zarate (b. Houston, Texas, 1977; lives and works in Tempe) Zarate received his BFA from Arizona State University. He was a member of the former RedEye Gallery in Phoenix. Zarate’s work endeavor is to transcend the mediums of cinema into still frame photographs. His photographs strive to induce contemplation even as their falseness is undisputed.
