NOW: Selections from the Ovitz Family Collection
NOW: Selections from the Ovitz Family Collection presents works by international contemporary artists. Dating from 2006 to 2008, the works illustrate recent trends in contemporary art that are fresh from the artists’ studios. These works are also recent acquisitions to the Ovitz Family Collection that highlights both established and emerging artists. Michael and Judy Ovitz began collecting art in the 1970s, and are listed among the world’s top collectors by publications such as ARTNews and Art & Antiquities.
Exhibition Artists
Artists featured in NOW include Mark Bradford, Rachel Harrison, Richard Hughes, Jamie Isenstein, Katy Moran, Anselm Reyle, Stephen G. Rhodes, Sterling Ruby, Andro Wekua, and Thomas Zipp. Richard Hughes and Andro Wekua will also be part of Life on Mars: 55th Carnegie International opening in May 2008. Rachel Harrison is featured in the 2008 Whitney Biennial.
ASU Art Museum Presentation
Organized by Andrea Feller, ASU Art Museum Interim Curator of Education, will be installed in the Arizona State University Art Museum’s Nelson Fine Arts Center location.

NOW: Selections from the Ovitz Family Collection (June 7 through September 28, 2008) is open at the ASU Art Museum: Tuesday, 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. (summer hours: Tuesday, 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.);
Wednesday – Saturday, 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.;
Sunday, 1-5 p.m.;
Closed Monday and holidays
