Student Docent Program

Are you interested in a career in the arts? Join the Student Docent Program at the ASU Art Museum. A docent is a trained volunteer who guides visitors of all ages to greater understanding and enjoyment of the ASU Art Museum and its collections.

By becoming a student docent you will have insider access to artists, curators and arts professionals. You will gain knowledge of museum operations and enhance your public speaking confidence by giving tours to all ages, and most importantly, you will be able to network and make new friends.

Student Docents must:

• Successfully complete a semester-long training course
• Commit to at least 25 hours of service during the course of one semester.
• Participate in any required continuing-education sessions
