What I Did on My Summer Vacation
Have you ever put together a photo album of what you did on your summer vacation? What I Did on My Summer Vacation presents works of art from the ASU Art Museum’s permanent collection, hung in the gallery like snapshots on a photo-album page illustrating various summer vacation activities. Among the “album pages” on exhibit is “Take me out to the Ballpark” which has legendary baseball figures and a dug-out - all created in papier maché. There is a hands-on activity area in the gallery designated as Camp ASUAM which is also the theme of the Family Day at the ASU Art Museum. Create craft things, do portraits, see demonstrations - have fun in a cool environment and best of all, it’s free!
Family Day at Camp ASUAM
On Saturday, July 7, the ASU Art Museum (ASUAM) will present its second
annual summer family day of hands-on activities and events. For What
I did on My Summer Vacation the Arizona State University Art Museum
will be converted to Camp ASUAM, with fun activites from 10:00 am to
2:00 pm.
ASU Art Museum Presentation
Organized by Jean Makin, What I Did on My Summer Vacation will
be installed in the Top Gallery of the Arizona State University Art
Museum at the Nelson Fine Arts Center.
Duration
What I Did on My Summer Vacation (June 2 - August 26, 2001) is
open Tuesday through Saturday from 10am to 5pm, and Sunday from 1pm
to 5pm.
