TOKEN CITY
Composer Michael Udow has published over 60 compositions including two operas under the Equilibrium Press label. In 1993, he received a Creative Artist Grant from the Michigan Arts Foundation for Twelve Years of a Slave, an opera in three acts. In 1998, his opera, Shattered Mirror will be premiered at the Percussive Arts Society International Convention. Udow is principal percussionist with the Santa Fe Opera and directs the percussion program at the University of Michigan.
