- Beijing: Insider access to studios, including artists like Ai Weiwei, Li Songsong, Zhang Xiaogang, Chen Lingyang, Liu Tianmiao & Wang Gongxin, and Li Wei. Visit galleries such as BANG, China Art Archives & Warehouse, White Space and Red Gate Gallery.
- Shanghai: Special access to artists like Wu Yiming, Zeng Fangzhi, Ji Wenyu, and Wang Xingwei. Visit galleries such as Shanghai Longrun Gallery, BizArt, Shanghart and 1918 ArtSPACE.
- Visit significant architectural sites, gardens and museums, including the Shanghai Museum, the newly opened Capitol Museum in Beijing, the Qinyang Gong Taoist Monastery--all guided.
- Visit the Great Wall, The Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, the Temple of Heaven, the Leshan Buddha (the world’s largest stone Buddha figure), Beijing’s Panjiayuan flea market, the Dujiangyan Irrigation Works (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and the Panda Research Institute in Chengdu.
- Be entertained by Beijing opera excerpts in a traditional tea house setting, a “face changing” performance by a Sichuan opera company and a Shanghai acrobatic troupe performance.
- Relax aboard a boat cruise on the Li River near Guilin and see the spectacular scenery.
- On the ceramics extension, visit the 1000-year-old imperial kiln in Jingdezhen and the excavation site of the life-sized terracotta soldier and horse figures in Xian.
