The Development Officer will join a team that works collaboratively to advance development initiatives at the ASU Art Museum with the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts. With a primary focus on donor relations and individual giving, the Development Officer will build a pipeline of gifts and ensure best practices for donor stewardship. The Development Officer will act as a liaison to external and internal constituencies including donors, foundations, corporations, members, alumni, funding agencies, ASU Foundation, Herberger Institute and other partner organizations. This will require a professional who can envision new partnerships and engage new audiences, set and exceed goals and expectations, initiate and grow authentic relationships, all while raising more unrestricted support, restricted support for key initiatives and endowed funds that will build a strong foundation for the Museum’s growth.
This position is on site at the Tempe Campus and will be scheduled regular business hours (8am-5pm/M-F); with the ability to work flexible shifts to support events, students and faculty when needed.
ASU Art Museum has many positions available for work-study eligible students. Positions range from visitor services and installation to education and administration.
