With so many ways to give, everyone can make an impact!

No matter how you give, every generosity directly accelerates the ASU Art Museum’s vision as an institution that leverages the power of the visual arts to promote democratic values, community well-being and social justice.

Annual giving, memberships and direct gifts

Through annual giving, Board+Councils memberships and direct gifts you are making an instant and impactful contribution to support the mission and vision of the ASU Art Museum. An annual gift can be a gift via cash, credit card, or securities. Additionally, ASU Art Museum and the ASU Foundation accept gifts of assets, stocks and wire transfers, all of which support the ASU Art Museum’s immediate needs.

Endowments

An endowment gift is one of the most powerful ways to support the ASU Art Museum. Your gift could create an endowed fund that provides sustainable income to the ASU Art Museum year after year. Investors may name a space in the ASU Art Museum; establish named curatorial positions, initiatives, lectureships, educational programs, exhibitions, internships, support acquisitions, artwork conservation or general operations. Starting an endowment at the ASU Art Museum helps us thrive for years to come.

Pledges

A formal pledge of support allows you to make regular gift payments over a specified period. Pledges allow donors to plan personal giving programs that are convenient for them. A pledge enables contributors to consider a larger, more significant gift than may have been possible otherwise through dispersed giving schedules.

Exhibition and educational program sponsorship

Sponsorship of an exhibition or educational program allows sponsors to focus their investments through specialized interests and projects which will show a return of exposure directed towards a specific interest group and demographics. Individuals, foundations and corporate sponsors benefit from the opportunity to enhance their corporate image and increase visibility through serving and impacting the community.

Gift plans

Planned Gifts from your estate allow you to leave a financial legacy and impact the ASU Art Museum for years to come. There are many types of planning arrangements to suit your individual needs, including wills, living trusts and beneficiary designations.

  • Gifts from your will – With the help of an advisor, you can include language in your will specifying a gift to family, friends or ASU as part of your estate plan. Leave a lasting legacy with one of the simplest gifts to make.
  • Gifts from your trust – Without reducing your assets during your lifetime create a lasting and personal legacy at ASU. Your advisor can guide you to include language in your trust specifying a gift to the university.
  • A beneficiary of retirement assets – Among the most flexible of all charitable gifts, a beneficiary designation allows you to make a gift to support ASU from your retirement assets. This option decreases the tax burden on you and your family.
  • A beneficiary of life insurance – You can designate ASU as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy. This gift is a simple and affordable way to support ASU while also decreasing your tax burden.
