In conjunction with special exhibitions or initiatives, ASU Art Museum has created and produced artist prints and portfolios that are available for purchase through a partnership with Artspace, an online marketplace for contemporary art. Artspace collaborates with museums, galleries, cultural institutions and other partners to curate the best collection of contemporary art in the world and offer the public an opportunity to collect art and support these organizations.
The ASU Art Museum has published a portfolio of prints by Cuban artists in conjunction with the exhibition Contemporary Art from Cuba: Irony and Survival on the Utopian Island. This project has been organized within the stipulations of the U.S. trade embargo of Cuba.
The portfolio, produced by Segura Publishing Company, Tempe and Armstrong-Prior Inc., Phoenix, consists of 11 prints, 22 x 30 inches. The portfolio is in an edition of 45, with additional artists proofs.
Proceeds from the portfolio will benefit the ASU Art Museum Acquisition Fund.

José A. Toirac
Work by these 11 artists is rarely seen in the United States. Many were educated in Cuba's Instituto Superior de Arte for up to 12 years. Their work is technically brilliant and laced with ironic humor.
